Compact 3--Star is the professional diagnostic equipment for Mercedes Benz cars manufactured after year 2000,it is the replacement of HHT.Compact 3--Star operate based on the Windows XP system,it includes workshops information system(WIS system),the movement management system(STARUTILITIES)and the automatically diagnose system(the DAS system)

Diagnosis box :
A.same with the original factory fuction
B. Unlike the communication way in which the computer operates, both the interface box for diagnosis and the computer of the original factory operate by RS485,while all the interface box of the common computer operate by RS232. The former is just the one that we now possess.

C. Should the interface box for diagnosis the original factory requires the common computer to operate the diagnosis software, we must then change the cable RS232 to RS485, which is available now in our company.

D. The interfaces of the diagnosis box used in communication are made by the original factory in the shape of a round 19 pins for aviation purpose like those made by us , which are rather expensive but firm and reliable in communication with a long lifespan. While some of the others sold in the marketks are just made in the shape of a common 9 pins in a flat way,with a low and dozens of times cheaper than those made for aviation purpose. They are not so reliable at all in communication for their short lifespan reason ,and loose contact will usually occur thereof.
E.The diagnosis cable is 55 pin navigation port
