STAR2000 is the professional diagnostic equipment for Mercedes Benz cars manufactured after year 2000, it is the replacement of HHT. STAR2000 operate based on the WINDOWS XP system, it includes workshops information system(WIS system), the movement management system (STARUTILITIES)and the automatically diagnose system(the DAS system)

Function:reading out and erasing trouble code; reading the real-time data of sensor and actuator; testing the component of cars; coding and programming.

Configuration:
Multiplexer +16Pin OBDII cable + 38Pin cable + 4 pin cable +14 pin truck cable +Rs232 communication cable, and 03/2007 version software DAS+WIS+EPC

Suitable: all the BENZ cars, such as autobus, truck, saloon car, sports car, smart car and so on.
1.38 pins for former chassis before W140 (before the end of 1997)
2. OBD-II diagnostic cable for latter chassis after W140.
3. 14 pins for trucks.
4. 4 pins for old BENZ before 1996.




Software: updated through DVD,
1. DAS:diagnosis and program software
2. WIS:repair management system software (can DAS).
3. EPC: spare parts management system (install alone)
Software upgrade: DVD Disc upgrade,totally the same with the origianl factory.

Diagnosis surface multiplxer:
A. Realizes all the function of official factory BENZ star 2000.

B. There is a difference in the way of communication. RS485 is used between original factory star multiplexer and original factory computer. But satr multiplexer linked to common computer is RS232 comunication, and our multiplexer is this kind.


C. It is necessary to transfer RS232 RS485 when original factory multiplexer is carried out by common computer, and our company has this cable.


D. The communication socket of original factory multiplexer is 19 pins circular aviation socket, which is expensive, sturdy, durable, and our cable is totally the same to it. Those ordinary 9 pins sector socket sold in the market, which are fairly unreliable, short lifespan, loose in several months, so the contact is not good, and which price is only one out of dozens of aviation socket.


E. Diagnostic socket is usually 55 pins aviation socket.

Diagnostic cable:
Original factory diagnostic cable is made according to parameter (such as electric current\voltage) needed by BENZ when diagnosis. Our company's diagnostic cables is totally the same with original ones. But those common cables are ordinary general ones, which electrical parameter and outside wrapping materials don't confirm to the usage requirements.
